+Emotional Intelligence for Leaders
Emotional Intelliegnce (EI) refers to the emotional and social skills we use to negotiate through life, such as optimism, empathy and stress tolerance. Some authors have argued that up to 90% of success in a senior leadership position is due to EI*. So understanding the concept of EI and how to develop your own EI skills is a key part of successful leadership.

In this workshop we introduce a model of EI based on the Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0 (EQ-i 2.0™), which is comprised of five elements: Self Perception, Self-Expression, Interpersonal, Decision Making and Stress Management.  We then offer skills development exercises focused on areas that link particularly strongly to leadership such as self-actualization (pursuit of meaning and self-improvement), interpersonal relationships, empathy, problem-solving, flexibility and optimism.

Delegates also have the opportunity to complete their own EQ-i 2.0™, receive feedback from an accredited EQ-i 2.0™ Coach and develop a plan for developing their EI strengths.

+Authentic Leadership
Rather than offering leadership tools and tips, Authentic Leadership Development (ALD) helps you develop a leadership approach that’s fully aligned with your most deeply held values.  It also explores the essence and importance of ethical decision-making.  Understanding values and ethics in leadership has never been more important.

+Coaching Skills
In this course you’ll discover the power of performance coaching. In our introductory course, delegates discover the principles of performance coaching and learn how to structure a coaching session using TGROW.  We also teach practical skills such rapport building, active listening, powerful questioning and goal setting.

In more advanced sessions we demonstrate techniques for building self-regard and self-efficacy and coaching people through the stages of change for sustainable improvements in performance.  The techniques we teach are derived from well-established practices from Life Coaching, Performance Coaching and Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC).

+Creating an Environment of Employee Engagement
Employee Engagement is now recognised as critical part of organisational success.  What does engagement mean? Engaged employees really believe in what they do, they feel cared for and appreciated and are committed to their organisation and its mission.

In this workshop we introduce the definitions of employee engagement and the benefits it brings to people and organisations. We also explore the links between engagement, wellbeing and performance.  If you have an employee engagement survey we can integrate the framework and findings into the workshop.

Delegates then complete a gap analysis based on the six key elements of engagement (or we use your own structure).  This gives your leaders a chance to assess where they are now (using survey data or self-assessment ), where they’d like to be in the future and how they’re going to get there.
